290. “Working on a sex farm…”

The episode:Escape 2000,” ep. 705

The riff: Sung by Mike as a heavy, 1970s-style rock and roll beat starts up.

The explanation:Sex Farm” is a song by the fictional rock band Spinal Tap in the classic comedy mockumentary “This Is Spinal Tap.” The song is just one of many ridiculously titled tunes and albums like “Shark Sandwich.” In the end of the film, “Sex Farm” turns out to be the solution to most of the band’s financial troubles, as it becomes a major crossover hit in Japan.

Novelty factor: It has been a while since I’ve seen “This Is Spinal Tap,” but once you’ve heard their music you tend not to forget it.

What do you think, sirs?
